From what i see, I suffer from the chronic brake issues. My brake and ABS lights come on- but they go off again. I also have to stand on the brake pedal as well to get it to go down. The brakes are almost non existant. plus the person selling it got it fro someone else and said that the previous owner told him that the passenger side caliper locks up sometimes. It hasnt happened to me yet but maybe someone knows the best way I can start attacking this. When this beast gets moving i need all the brakes I can get....
THANKs ALL

how do i check if the sensor at the wheels is bad? You said the sensor would cause all of the above symptoms? The brake pedal is rock hard and doesnt seem to do much. The mechanic said i would have to change the entire brake unit under the hood.

Screw that.. Change out entire brake unit.. Hes crazy.. Like i told you over the phone.. Check the Hydro-Vac Accumulator.. Unscrew it.. If its pressurized and blows out brake fluid that is your problem.. As far as the pass side caliper I would rebleed the brakes and if it doesnt help you can always swap out the calipers.. They are not tha expensive..
