Just curious, why there are so many forums/boards out there for SC's/Birds/Cats?
Is any one the end-all / be-all?
Was this board started out of something that happened on the TCCoA site? I'm brand new and just trying to figure it all out. Plus that TCCoA won't let me post until i give them my first born ;D so am very happy that I can at least start some dialogues here

Nothing happend over at TCCoA that I know of.It is just hard to get the New York chapter going over there. So I guess with a Forum that is directed to the New York member's only it might have more success in setting up meets and such.

I'm brand new and just trying to figure it all out. Plus that TCCoA won't let me post until i give them my first born ;D so am very happy that I can at least start some dialogues here The main purpose of this forum was to give those from all over New York, including NYC, a place to meet and call their own specifically. Nothing has happened at TCCOA, SCCOA, or any other site. I belong to those forums and am a paying member of the SCCOA as well and will continue to support that organization as it really promotes these cars and the preservation of them. As some have said already, it's proving to be hard to get a New York board started on any of the other forums and keep it going with any sort of regularity or enthusiasm, so it is our hope that this forum will increase in popularity and more owners will be encouraged to join us here so we have one central place to go to socialize with those close to us, location-wise. I hope this answers your questions.

Since I started this post, I am finally able to post on TCCoA. Totally down with getting a New York group together. My Cat is still not registered, have to do the UCA's, and waiting for the exhaust. But once those are done, she'll be road worthy.
As far as meeting up. I actually joined LI-Stangs.com. They are a mustang group. But they meet every tuesday/thursday...different locations around LI, Qns, & Blkyn. You guys should check em out. I have another 'project' car, a '79 Merc Zephyr, so I joined LI-stangs as the Zef was a fox body, like the earlier mustangs. I never made it out to a meet, as the Zef is still not on the road..currently trying to sell it.
This spring I will be bringing the 'OTHER' car [got a bunch of toys as u can see], out. Got a '67 Chrysler Newport.

I wish I could meet with ya but I reside in WNY.Buffalo area.Hopefully some more owners from the WNY area will wanna do a track meet or something in the spring.I am thinking along the lines of NYIRP?1/4 track.Besides I still need to run the SVO car to get a baseline and I need to test the 3500 stall and possibly a Trickflow track heat if the money is there.

Yeah, guess we'll never meet! Buffalo is FAR. Hope there are some more NYC folks online.
